News about the Ethanol Across America
education campaign: On July 31st, the Ethanol Across America education campaign helped launch the Flexible Fuel Vehicle Club of America (FFV Club, or Flex Fuel Club) at the Renewable Energy Expo on Capitol Hill. The FFV Club is a web-based, membership driven, very unique new community-of-interest. The FFV club will corral, nurture, harness, and activate the power of millions of existing and future FFV owners. The FFV Club will help consumers and FFV owners understand they are empowered to have a direct impact on improving the environment plus enhancing energy and national security plus protecting their personal health and economic well being. These core values are much more powerful, popular, and noble causes when compared to just being an environmentalist. The goal is simple and focused. Locate and educate existing and new FFV owners and motivate them to use higher blends of ethanol – and provide them with the knowledge to know why. The Flexible Fuel Vehicle Club has already received support and enthusiasm from the FFV makers like Ford, GM and Chrysler, our Congressional board of advisors, other policy makers, and many other alternative fuel stakeholders. We hope you join them and the club!
